Thanks Nitrix,Just a small update, these are the modular molex cables, there are two of these

Image

Plastic stoppers and plugs removed

Image

Heat shrink on all the ends

Image

With the plug fitted

Image

Image

Sleeved and aditional heat shrink over the join

Image

Image

And the PSU end

Image

I did the front audio/usb cables aswell

Image

I'd also like to add, this build is now sponsored by MNPCTech,Bill has kindly donated some of his 120mm Machined Billet Computer Fan Grills

Image

Image

I'll be powdercoating these and using them to replace the basic wire grills I have now,I think they'll improve the overall appearance of the case.that's all i've got for now, untill next time.

Thanks Peter :) ,Just a small update, the SATA cables that came with the board were a bit short so I got some 1m ones

Image

So I sleeved these aswell

Image

Heat shrink before

Image

Image

And after

Image

Image

And fitted

Image

I also got the 120mm Machined Billet Computer Fan Grills from MNPCTech

Image

Image

I had planned on powdercoating the surround white, but when I seen them they look really nice so I decided to keep them as they are, here they are fitted

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

And with the fans running

Image

Image

Image

I think these look much better than the wire grills

Also I got Mod of the Day over at HardOCP,which I didn't expect :),anyway that's all i've got for now,i'm hoping to get all the wiring finished at the weekend.

OMG!!! I just luv this.....

A quick question.... what are the details of the compression fitting you used?

I am looking to be getting some soon for my build and like the clean look with no clamps.....

Been a while since I last updated this as I haven't had much time lately, anyway I sleeved the power/reset switches individually
Image

Image

Image

Fitted back in the case
Image

I got two of these displays to monitor the water temperature in the two res's

Image

These are going in to one of the 5.25" bay covers which i've marked out

Image

And after a few cuts with the Dremel

Image

Image

Before the displays go in I wanted to spray them white, which means dismantling them,to do this you need to cut the retaining slots on one side

Image

Cut out with a sharp knife

Image

Tha back should just pop open then

Image

Image

Tha PCB removed

Image

Now i'm left with the piece I want to paint

Image

Sprayed and clear coated

Image

Test fitted in the cover

Image

Image

Just need to reassemble them now,I hope to get this finished at the weekend that's if the missus doesn't get on my case about doing the garden,it's starting to get a bit wild out there :)
